Our partner, based in Addis Ababa, is an international NGO that works with communities, often in very difficult environments, enabling them to achieve both immediate and long term improvements to their health. At the same time they campaign for the changes in policies and practices needed to create and sustain good health among the world’s poorest people. One of their main projects is currently coming to a close and they are preparing for a major donor audit sometime around mid-late June. Your role would be to assist with the preparation for the audit and additionally also provide training to local staff to improve their confidence in dealing with day to day financial control matters. Staff will also need ongoing support and guidance to implement the recommendations from a recent internal audit. Flights, visa, travel and medical insurance covered.
