Action Tutoring are looking for bright and enthusiastic people to tutor pupils in inner city schools in London in either English, Maths or Science.

Do you want to make a difference to a young person's life? Volunteer for one of the fastest growing educational charities in the UK!

Action Tutoring, a registered charity, sends volunteers into inner city schools across London to support pupils in English, Maths and Science at GCSE level. The pupils are on the C/D borderline and are aiming for a C in these important subjects. Achieving a C greatly improves their future prospects.

Volunteering takes place at a school for one hour a week for 8 weeks. You would tutor one or two pupils at a time.

Full training will be provided and we cover reasonable travel expenses to and from the school. We also organise a DBS check free of charge (if you need one).

To apply, please follow the link below.  We recruit on a rolling basis but do apply asap as programmes do fill up.

We look forward to hearing from you!
