AgDevCo is currently looking for two Analysts with strong finance and analytical skills. Candidates will have an interest in international development and impact investing. The positions are based in London working within the Portfolio Management Team.

For applicants who do not have sufficient experience, we may be able to offer paid intern positions. We would also be willing to consider more experienced individuals with strong project finance / PE modelling skills for more senior roles.

For the analyst positions we are looking for individuals who demonstrate the potential to develop within AgDevCo to become Investment Officers with responsibility for individual investments; and with the willingness to travel regularly and/or be located in Africa.


Analysts will provide support to the Portfolio Manager and senior staff on portfolio related activities which also include helping identify, analyse and structure prospective investments and play a supporting role in project development.



Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills; ability to present arguments and analysis in a structured and succinct manner;

A minimum 2:1 degree in economics or related subject (Masters preferable);

Strong finance and accounting knowledge;

Ability to work independently; self-starter and highly motivated;

Willingness to learn and supplement on the job training with relevant study outside of office hours.


+2 years’ investment bank, private equity modelling experience (ideally project finance/cash flow lending modelling);

Experience of operating in emerging markets, preferably in sub-Saharan Africa;

Agribusiness knowledge;
