Note: Before applying, please make sure you know the difference between LEAF (Education Center) and Logos (High School). It is the same people, same organization, same work position, just different work hours. You could apply for both positions, but you will only get one - Logos or LEAF. For more information take a closer look at our profile.  

Working hours for Logos (High School):

  • Monday through Friday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
  • Saturday: 11:00 AM – 3 PM (Mandatory)


Working hours for LEAF (Education Center):

  • Monday through Friday: 1:00PM – 9:00PM
  • Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4 PM (If necessary)

*Please note that working hours are subject to fluctuate according to the specific schedule of assigned classes.

 

Work Responsibilities:

  • Each Teacher is responsible for between 20-30 Classroom Hours a week teaching Intermediate-Advance English Literature and Grammar Courses, SAT and TOEFL prep courses (Hours do not include meetings and lesson planning/prep)
  • Special Subject classes may be arranged if the teacher has a particularly desirable area of academic expertise
  • Classroom Planning, Grading and Copying of Materials are all teacher responsibilities
  • College Counseling (High Season is from late October to early February)
  • Activity and Club Moderation may be requested if any teacher has a special skill set or interests.
  • The person must act in accordance to the American-Georgian Educational Center’s Code of Conduct.
  • Routinely scheduled meetings for performance evaluations, general conversation, and special projects/initiatives.
