The Role - Junior Web Analyst

This role involves working in the central Arcadia Group team across all of the brands and retailers (the Shared Services team within Group E-Commerce).

This group sets the overall strategy, designs and delivers major projects and programmes of change, and shares best practice and offers guidance and support in areas as diverse as user experience design, digital marketing and analytics.

This is a great opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of products and brands from a central, commercial, analytical position. You will work closely with the other web analysts in each of the individual retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service both brand and Group E-commerce requests for analysis and insight 
  • Act as the Group's super user for SiteCatalyst and Omniture, offering guidance as necessary to other users in the business
  • Provide detailed knowledge of the specifics of the Group's implementation of the web analytics product
  • Specify extensions to the web analytics product as our digital channels grow and change (e.g. analytics specification for new mobile channels).

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in retail of physical goods
  • Core skills around Adobe (formely Omniture) SiteCatalyst and Discover and Excel
  • Experience of A/B and multivariate testing
  • Commercial awareness
  • Adept at pulling out commercially actionable insight from an overabundance of statistics & metrics
  • Good understanding of statistics and their role in e-commerce analysis
