ARK Schools is a fast growing and successful education charity seeking to establish an outstanding network of inner city academies in London, Birmingham and Portsmouth. With 18 academies open and an aim to have 50 schools open by 2015, this is a unique opportunity to join a thriving organisation.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Head of Recruitment who will lead a proactive, effective and efficient recruitment service, to ensure that ARK Schools recruits excellent leaders, teaching, and operational staff.  The Head of Recruitment will play a key role in the organisation by being responsible for all principal and headteacher appointments.

The ideal candidate will have worked at a senior level in an in-house/internal recruitment team or recruitment agency, ideally within a schools or education setting and have extensive experience of senior level search. We are looking for a candidate who can lead on all the strategic elements of recruitment as well as act as an ambassador of the organisation as part of senior level recruitment.
