Since its inception in 2001, Asia Pacific Investment Partners (APIP) has been focused on proprietary investments and operations in the country of Mongolia - one of the fastest growing countries in the world.  

APIP is headquartered in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and has administrative and marketing offices in London and Hong Kong. Future plans of the company include further investment into the Central Asian region, primarily in real estate, financial services and construction materials.

APIP plans to list on a major exchange in near term. As part of this process it has recently made some significant senior hires.

This is an exciting challenge and provides an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment in an economy with incredible potential.

About the Position:

  • Prepare and execute on the annual strategic business plan for each property including preparation of acquisition / disposition opportunities, sales and leasing objectives, operating budgets and capital renovation projects
  • Provide administrative and technical leadership with direct responsibility for cost, schedule and overall contract performance
  • Prepare, manage and keep all operating budgets for all company properties
  • Develop a complete understanding of the real estate market in which portfolio assets are located – current buildings and future projects included
  • Develop and implement sales, leasing and repositioning strategies 
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Complete annual valuations and quarterly reports for the properties
  • Review, recommend approvals / disapprovals / changes to all proposed tenant improvement expenditure and other capital expenditures of the properties
  • Prepare  and negotiate project plan / cost-effective working budgets, subcontractor relationship, building processes/
  • Develop strategic and operational plans to achieve results and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives; build sales pipeline of leads and opportunities to achieve and exceed sales goal


The Candidate Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Well developed understanding of property  development strategy and implementation
  • At least 6 years of experience in the related field with a reputable organization
  • Ability to evaluate and drive change across the business to translate opportunities into actionable plans and strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others to support objectives
  • Tenacious, highly energetic and motivated, high level of commitment and passionate about achieving levels of excellence
  • Results driven by good business judgment
  • Good commercial understanding and mindset
  • Overseas experience will be an added advantage
