About the Role

Bee me yogurt is looking for a dynamic and highly capable Sales Director, based in London, to join our Management Team at the bee hive. This candidate should really be the bee’s knees when it comes to a buzzing personality – a real impact player with the willingness to learn, devise & execute the Company’s sale strategy.

‘We’re always looking to hire someone better than ourselves.’ Our buddy Howard Schultz, who opened a few (thousand) coffee shops called Starbucks said that and he did alright so we’ve made it our mantra also – A hard-working, motivated over-achiever who is able to handle dealing with industry leaders and multi-site national accounts as equally as with a bucket and blender in hand, mixing natural goodness.

We’re not just your average snog, yog, frog or frae. We come with a much bigger heart, a better tasting yogurt and a name with more than 4 letters. Five in fact. That’s what bee me yogurt is all about. We are currently serving from 5 locations across London, just coming off of being the only Company to serve frozen yogurt at the London Olympics 2012. We have a value proposition that is rooted in having the best product, but then is unlike any offered by competitors in this sector. 

Passionate about business, marketing, branding and a strong commercial and strategic mind are all assets. Balancing hundreds of items (no joke) at a time with intricate detail and knowing when to switch between macro and micro attention to things is key.

Being able to communicate in 12 languages including Italian hand gestures is a plus. Sleeping four hours a night sometimes required but not recommended. If you’re lactose intolerant and can’t eat yogurt or dairy, fret not, we’ll still consider you.

We’re not playing it safe and we don’t do things the way they’ve always been done. And most importantly, we’re not trying to fit the system of opening up stores and hoping it doesn’t rain in the UK. There are some things that even prayers can’t help with – unpredictable weather in the UK is one of them.

What will the Role involve?

  • Hitting the streets and charming your way into accounts all over London
  • Buzzing around London in the beemobile and establishing clients across the city
  • Working with the co-founders to set, plan and execute the Company’s new strategy
  • Building and developing relationships with retailers and businesses
  • Set up various strands of the business from scratch according to a pre-agreed budget
  • Working with our marketing team to bring the brand to life in-store through point of sale materials and creative, eye catching displays
  • Customer relations management – maintaining a database, tracking prospects and following up on leads
  • Create & pitch targeted presentations for key clients and management
  • Unlimited creative potential with expansion across Europe in 2013
