Bespoke Tuition is seeking experienced tutors/teachers, to accompany a selection of families on their Easter and Summer holidays. Confirmed destinations include: Moscow, Whistler, Hong Kong, Miami and Quebec. Depending on location, these intensive assignments will last anything between 1 and 12 months, with the tutor usually working up to 5 hours a day with one family. The positions vary in their focus areas but will be predominantly English, Maths or Science tuition (or a combination of the three) to 9-15 year old students.

Candidate requirements:

English, Maths or Science specialists

Outstanding academic background following GCSE/A Level or IB curriculum

A 2.1 or higher degree from a top UK university

Significant one to one tutoring and/or professional classroom teaching experience with 9-15 year olds

Proven track record of success guiding students towards their academic goals

Updated CRB

The ideal candidate will be:

Familiar with a variety of curriculums/syllabi including GCSE, iGCSE and IB.

Multi-disciplinary tutors who can offer tuition in a wide variety of subjects.

Experienced in creating own teaching resources/materials and developing customized lesson plans for tutees based on their unique goals.

Able to adapt their teaching methods and devise alternative approaches quickly according to individual learning styles.

Have an understanding of dyslexia and relevant teaching techniques (non-essential)

Flexible and innovative, both in their teaching style as well as in defining the structure of the working day to help the student to achieve their full potential.

Firm without being strict, and be able to inject humour and light-heartedness into all that they do.

A positive, energetic and sincere individual who enjoys a variety of sports/outdoor pursuits and leads a healthy lifestyle.
