Over the last ten years Bramley Lakes has inspired many individual and teams at its experiential learning centre in Norfolk.

With a focus on driving performance through organisational health we’re looking for the right person to join our team.

The purpose of the role is to help other companies see the advantage to their business of adopting a healthier approach. Engaging and positioning how an experiential based learning approach can help improve the health and bottom line of an organisation.


The Role

The role is based at our experiential learning centre on the outskirts of Norwich, with the focus on engaging clients in the East of England and London, although you may be required to travel across the UK.

You need to be able to build credible relationships. Its really important you are able to develop these engagements and deliver clear business outcomes for the client.  

A proven track record is essential. If you have experience selling ‘people solutions’ or ‘organisational development solutions’ or you may come from a Corporate background and have a real passion and understanding of the benefits that experiential programmes can achieve then we’d love to hear your story.

The nature of our approach means you need to be able to demonstrate competence or an aptitude for real consultative selling: No power points! To be successful in the role you will need to have drive, determination and tenacity or put it another way you need to be a proactive, self-starter with energy.

Your Role

The outcome you need to deliver is to generate business for Bramley Lakes either delivery at our Centre or by our team.

The territory focus is principally East of England, together with other territories where transport links make it feasible for clients to come to the Centre for programmes.  Such territories might include London, Manchester and Edinburgh.  These will be agreed as part of the strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities

We expect all our team to be comfortable with building great relationships and in the role of BDM you should demonstrate these responsibilities and behaviours to drive and enable development of the business, resulting in sales.

  • Prospecting  (networking, sourcing leads, responding to enquiries)
  • Consultative selling  (engaging, positioning and winning business)
  • Customer engagement  (talking to and keeping in touch with customers)
  • Insight  (articulating your point of view to a customer)
  • Enquiry management  (emails, Goldvision - recording and updating)
  • Customer folders  (content management – all relevant information)
  • Customer solutions  (constructing proposals, programmes, session plans)
  • Marketing  (leading all aspects including digital and traditional)        
  • Web development  (website, social media, encouraging development)
  • Personal Administration  (management of diary, time and expenses)
