Building on its track record over the last 10 years, Bridges Ventures has an aspiration to continue innovating in ways that support the development of the overall impact investment sector, both through the direct impact of our own investments and by sharing practitioner knowledge that can help grow the market.
To that end, we are seeking a Consultant to support our work on a variety of impact investment initiatives, ranging from analysis of Bridges' own portfolios to practitioner-led advisory projects that support the growth of the wider impact investment sector. Example advisory projects range from providing discrete advice for a wide variety of institutions looking to develop their impact investing activities (ranging from new fund managers to foundations to government) to developing knowledge content for the sector (for example, new product development or impact investment policy recommendations).
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years working directly in impact investment, or a relevant combination of other experiences. The role would suit someone who is both very detail-oriented and a 'big picture' strategic thinker - and who is equally comfortable with both. It will also appeal to someone who wants to show leadership and creative thinking about how to translate Bridges’ direct investment work into new initiatives that help build the sector – in ways that generate both impact and returns.
The role is full-time for an initial fixed-term consulting contract of 4 months and, depending on the growth of the firm, has the potential to become permanent thereafter.
Interested candidates should submit their CV, along with a cover letter, to Emily Ellisdon email@example.com.
WE WILL BE INTERVIEWING CANDIDATES ON A ROLLING BASIS SO ENCOURAGE CANDIDATES TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
