A unique teaching experience aimed at developing the skills of young aspiring teachers through educating the Kenyan youth.

Primary School Volunteer Teacher

We are looking for six inspirational individuals who are interested in education, teaching either Maths, Science, Music/Dance, Art/Design, Nursery or Physical Education. Selected applicants will conduct 6 weeks of teaching in a school in Kenya.

ABOUT

You will teach between 20 to 25 lessons per week (subject depending) to some of the most inspiration children in the world. You will be able to gain huge amounts of experience developing the departments curriculum and their own style of teaching. The primary school has a large age range of children from Nursery through to year eight.

Placement dates in 2013 are as follows: (these start at the beginning of each kenyan school half-term)

  1. 20th May to 28th June
  2.  1st July to 9th August
  3. 2nd September to 18th October
  4. 21st October to 29th November
