What is the ‘Engine of Improvement’?

Whilst all of the activities within Challenge Partners are geared around school improvement, the Engine of Improvement focuses on the work with those schools that are struggling, and will include schools that are not yet members of Challenge Partners. Through the Engine of Improvement, Challenge Partners will broker relationships between schools to enable them to help each other, making best use of the skills across the Partnership. Challenge Partners will agree an improvement package of proven learning activities with appropriate outcome measures to drive whole-school improvement. Through this Challenge Partners aspires to create schools that mirror the best practice of Challenge Partners and deliver the best possible outcomes for every child.
