Pohwer has grown to become one of the largest advocacy providers in the UK. We provide the support of an advocate in a very wide range of service users from all communities in any setting, including in highly specialised settings. This service is to empower users to speak up for their rights, access information or comment on the services they receive or need - including health, housing, care, community and legal services.

Our Charity stands up for vulnerable people. We also ensure that our service users are helping shape and run the organization as trustees. We’re looking to build on our team of trustees to complement our existing skills. In particular we are keen to find people with strong experience of working with government on policy issues, and people with strong financial skills, especially in relation to large scale public sector contracts.
