You will be responsible for: 
  • Developing and delivering a sustainable fundraising strategy for CBF using all appropriate fundraising streams including institutional and major donors and corporations. 
  • Initiating, managing and coordinating all fundraising campaigns. 
  • Researching and accessing appropriate grant funding in the UK and overseas.
  • Helping to manage our existing partnerships and develop new ones. 
  • Providing creative input to the 'brand' image and organise the sourcing of branded materials.
  • Contributing to the Foundation's strategic planning activities.

Required experience & skills 
  • A degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant subject or field.  
  • Experience in a fundraising position, preferable for a charity.
  • Experience of dealing with external agencies and audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Some experience of working or volunteering in a developing country.
