Sales & Marketing Coordinator for creeswww.crees-manu.org

The crees foundation has been training volunteers in conservation research and sustainable community initiatives in the Peruvian Amazon for over 8 years. Our education programme actively trains and educates up to 18 volunteers each month to become knowledgeable, engaged and positive agents for change.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator, to implement our sales and marketing strategies from our UK, London office.

 

Primary Role:

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the day to day sales and marketing activities of a busy international volunteering organisation. This involves the implementation of our marketing strategy, analysing data, and reporting and acting on changes in the market. This role requires innovative thinking, and someone who can use initiative and self-motivate.

The role also provides excellent customer service for our volunteers and partners, which includes everything from responding to enquires, conducting interviews, processing payments, maintaining and writing marketing documentation and gathering feedback.

 

The role is across 2 core areas:

Sales: (reporting to the Education Programme Manager in Peru)

The role acts as the first point of contact for all volunteering enquires. Tasks will include answering questions via telephone, email and social media; booking clients onto our programmes; conducting telephone interviews with prospective volunteers; creating invoices and payment processes; pre-departure coordination with our Cusco office in Peru; collecting and analysing statistics; maintaining and building new partnerships, and managing and improving the sales pipeline.

Marketing: (reporting to the Education Programme Manager in Peru)

The role is responsible for implementing our sales and marketing strategy and writing monthly reports on our progress. Tasks will include creating and maintaining all relevant documentation related to the volunteer programme; coordinating all programme communications online and in print; creating advertisements and marketing materials; running marketing campaigns; attending relevant events to promote our programmes; and providing support to our fundraising and foundation teams.

Job Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

·         Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant work experience

·         Minimum of 1 year sales and marketing experience

·         Minimum 1 year customer service experience

·         Salesforce experience or similar CRM

·         Ability to analyse data

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Keen attention to detail

·         Dynamic, good humoured and positive personality

Contract Duration:

1 year (subject to 3 month probation).

Benefits Package:

·         £18,000 per annum

·         28 days holiday allowance
