The concept of Daredevil Project was conceived by founder Paul Archer, a double World Record holding Adventurer, high up on the Tibetan Plateau whilst driving an old London Black Cab around the world.
Daredevil Project believe your phone can be a force for mischief, a tool for more than just tedious bird games and gastronomic photography.
Duel, a new competitive photo-duelling app, launches globally in summer 2015. Dubbed the “illegitimate child of Draw Something and Snapchat” by its creator, Duel revolves around pairs of images, with a game-like element that requires at least two people in order to play.
The company is based at the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol, England.

Why are we exciting?
Everybody who works at Daredevil Project had to pass a vital test before they got the job:
Are you somebody we can go for a drink with after work?
We're a tech startup based in the most exciting studio in Bristol (Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed) and every week is completely different. Our team isn't huge, but we only have the best; we like to tackle challenges head-on and get them right.
Our latest app, Duel, launches globally in summer 2015. Duel is different, there's nothing quite like it currently on the market and there's a lot of people excited about us.
Enough startup jargon - if you've got something to offer then get in touch.
What can we offer Escapees?
- Lifestyle: we're a lot of fun, and probably the loudest team working in the studio. Actually, scrap that. We are the loudest team in the studio.
- Bristol: is where it's at. People say it's "like London but you can walk everywhere."
- Competitive salary: got something special to offer? We might even be able to throw a few extra bits in there too.
- Daredevil Project Challenge: each employee has to do a challenge. We'll pay for it, and it'll probably end up being some content for our YouTube channels. One of our team is about to run his first ever marathon, another is going to do the world's toughest downhill mountain bike race. You don't have to do something that's going to destroy you physically, but it has to be something you're a little bit scared of.
What is our culture like?
Travel | Adventure | Party | Extreme Sports | Charity | Good Beer | Laughing so hard a little bit of wee comes out as often as possible.
It's not for everyone, but we love it.
