Simply put - your job is to recruit, train and manage Deliveroo's fleet of ROOMAN and ROOWOMEN!  

More specifically:

  • Develop & Optimise Top-notch Driver Recruiting, Training and Performance Measurement Processes. 
  • Recruiting:  Identify and execute on best supply of drivers
  • Training:  Standardise training and work with area driver managers to execute this.  Try to understand the impact of training on performance
  • Driver Analytics. Heavy analysis of driver metrics.  Who is performing, who is not?  Are we thinking about driver performance correctly?   
  • Product Improvement. Deep thinking around our driver app and our back-end driver tracking, how can we improve this experience for our customer service reps and our drivers?  Work closely with engineering team and products team on this.
  • Expansion Planning / Recruiting. Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of driver incentive programs and work with management to execute those strategies
  • Driver Support. Manage the day-to-day issues of drivers on our system

You must be able to deal with people from different cultures and nationalities easily.  Our workforce is exceedingly diverse.

You should not be afraid to get your hands dirty.  They will frequently be dirty.
