About Us

We run a small school in rural India. It's in a place where the quality of schools is really bad. We're running a really high quality experimental school that will show the quality of education in remote rural areas can be outstanding.

We're a charity, but we don't like asking for money. So we came up with the 2p campaign - asking people to give us only 2p. We figured that no-one's going to mind us asking for that.

We think that school children in the UK collecting lots of 2ps can be really fun and a great way to engage with ideas of non-financial support to charities and how individual right action leads to collectively massive changes. It can also hit lots of curriculum objectives in new and interesting ways.

We need someone to lead a 6 month project building school communication resources to make it easy for teachers to see how fun it can be for the kids to support Educate for Life. Once the resources are made and strategy designed, it'll be time to go out there and get schools on board.

We ran the 2p campaign 5 years ago and the BBC came out to India to document our school. Let's make them come out again and document how young UK kids can be global change makers.
