Want practical, pragmatic advice on how to start a business when you have little entrepreneurial experience? This is a targeted, streamlined course that delivers all the necessary practical knowledge for you to start your own venture, in one jam-packed day, with an online classroom component to help stretch learning beyond just the single day.

Why should you come on this course? You don’t want to waste your time and money developing a business idea that doesn’t work. It is really important to get your head around the common pitfalls and useful tips before you start. This is a one-day mini-MBA that doesn't break the bank. It is based on startup best practice and real world examples. It is specifically designed for people at the beginning of their journey - those with little or no entrepreneurial experience.
Come on this course to save yourself a lot of time and uncertainty having to figure everything out by yourself. The course is taught by industry figures and entrepreneurs with demonstrated experience and expertise in the relevant startup area. This is not an academic course - it is highly practical and is designed to tell you exactly what you need to know to start your business and help you avoid making costly mistakes.
Each intake will have 100 students. You will be placed in a team with nine other Escape members, so that you get to know a group of like-minded people throughout the day. You will also be given the opportunity to network with the rest of the intake both online and offline. There will be considerable amounts of homework before the course and lots of recommended resources to support you afterwards. You'll walk away with a clearer understanding of the fundamentals of starting a business and you'll learn how to dodge some common pitfalls.

Hi there,
This is the course we wish we had taken three years ago when we escaped from management consulting to start Escape the City. We’ve spent a lot of time figuring things out for ourselves that we really could have learnt quite easily given the right opportunity.
