EHN are interested in launching a new project in Nepal with the opening of our daycare centre in kathmandu. Across the city people suffer daily from not having safe drinking water. You can buy this but many families have to put rent and food before they think about the water.
Our aim is to use part of our centre and raise some money for community lifestraws (each one can create 18,000 Litres of safe water) then we are going to filter as much as we can and give to the people in the slums.
Its going to be hard but rewarding work setting this project up but the rewards of several hundred families having access to safe water far outways this.
We need volunteers to help with this project.
You will not only be involved with the filtering but also the distributing as well as the planning stages as well.
