Frontline Participants will work with police, courts, schools, vulnerable children and families as children’s social workers - one of Britain’s toughest jobs. The programme will give participants the opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills to prepare them for influential careers in social work and beyond. The programme will start with an intensive five-week residential summer institute. In year one, participants will undertake on-the-job training in teams of four placed in local authorities in Greater London and Greater Manchester. They will be supported by an experienced social worker.
