In this class attendees will learn the tools and techniques to understand and grow their user base, including:
- What data to collect, and how to collect it
- How to analyse it meaningfully, including moving beyond out-of-the-box tools
- Two powerful ways to view your data (funnels and cohort analysis)
- Common metrics mistakes
The content is unashamedly focused on small companies ( < 25 employees), who face different challenges gathering and analysing data to large organisations.
The class will look at small sample sizes and limited resources straight-on, with no time for dealing with how the Obama campaign used A/B testing.
Grey Baker heads up analytics at GoCardless, an online payments startup. Previously he waded through data at McKinsey and Cambridge.
