Graze was started by 7 friends who all share a passion for food. We deliver tasty, natural snacks through the post in the UK and since our official launch in January 2009 we have grown massively.   We currently employ approx. 250 people split between our head office in Richmond, our factory in Feltham and our new state of the art facility in Hayes.

The Role

We have big plans to build on our success and are currently going through a very exciting period of expansion.  This has created a new opportunity for a Business Analyst.

As a business analyst you will be supporting the business development manager in exciting growth opportunities for graze. The primary focus will be on the recent launch of our USA business, helping to push it forward and make it a success.

This is a unique opportunity to get involved with the first international expansion of successful young business and play a large part in its growth.

Travel to the USA likely with potential to relocate if desired.

Why we're looking:

With the USA business looking to expand rapidly we’re keen for someone to join the team to help push things forward and support this growth.

 What you’ll be responsible for:

Wide range of commercial activities, including:

  • Data analysis and insight generation (across a wide range of topics from customer metrics to consumer surveys)
  • Consumer insight generation and resulting consumer facing decisions (e.g. changes to the web front end, products offered etc)
  • Supporting customer growth forecasting and budgeting
  • Creating presentations to help with the day to day running of the business and to feedback to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Liaising with other teams around the business to gather information, come to mutually beneficial outcomes and  ensure everyone is aligned

The role will be varied and give you the opportunity to learn about multiple parts of the business from customer acquisition to front end web development to supply chain. It is a great role for someone looking to really understand how a business runs and have tangible day to day impact on business decisions. The scope of this role is flexible and it will evolve as the business does. It is likely to be possible for you to shape the role yourself and progress in areas of the business that most interest you.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • Degree from top tier University
  • 1 year work experience in a commercial role (consulting/banking/corporate finance and/or a consumer facing/ecommerce business a plus)
  • Strong analytical ability, able to generate  meaningful insight and to effectively present findings
  • The ability to quickly understand how a subscription based business works,  as well as the core metrics that drive the business and how they relate to customer acquisition
  • Driven self-starter, with a proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to apply yourself to different types of problems across different departments in the business
  • Energy to work in an extremely fast paced and dynamic growth business
  • An inquisitive nature with a determination to get the right answers
  • Strong communicator who is able to work with a range of stakeholders
  • Great team player
  • Numerate and strong excel capability would be advantageous

All candidates should be able to provide evidence of the right to work in the UK indefinitely.
