The senior management team behind the successful private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw, founded by recruitment entrepreneur James Caan, is launching a new vehicle to invest into larger businesses in the staffing sector across the UK. Based on the strength of the management team and their unique investment approach, they are looking to recruit a strong M&A specialist/consultant to join the initial core team responsible for creating and building the new entity.

The successful candidate will work alongside the architect of the new business to lead the project management in executing and delivering the successful launch of the new entity through a public listing. You will be responsible for the strategic plan; investor activity including presentation development and organizing, attending and following up with investor meetings and investor roadshows; managing advisors required throughout the process; as well the end-to-end management of the entire transaction. After successful listing, you will be responsible for managing significant M&A activity which provides the longer-term career path for the right individual.

The right individual will have a consulting, M&A or transaction service background in the respective leading institution. They will have been the top performer in their field, having developed exceptional core skills in M&A, commercial due diligence, excellent client-facing interaction, strategic planning and project management and execution over at least the past 5 years.

The successful candidate must have:

·         Graduated from a top university in an economics, social science, mathematics, science or engineering degree

·         A clear understanding of how to effectively assess and analyse businesses from an M&A perspective

·         A track record in executing transactions and a clear demonstrable personal contribution to the process

·         Worked on IPO and public market transactions

·         Exposure and understanding of the professional service sector

·         Spent a significant time working with and pitching to CXO-level

  • Be an exceptional communicator with top presentation skills and an excellent command of the English language
