ICYE UK relies heavily on the support of it's interns and so the post-holder is essential to the running of the long term programme. The role is largely to help recruit, train and support the long term volunteers who undertake voluntary placements with local NGOs overseas.
The role also involves using social media outlets to spread the vision of ICYE UK, creating posters and brochures for recruitment fairs/universities and updating our website. The position is largely office based although there is also the opportunity to represent ICYE UK at seminars both abroad and in the UK, at recruitment fairs, careers services and to assist with training at our training camps.
We can also provide you with the opportunity to explore your own interests, to take part in conferences and work on skills you specifically want to develop through external training courses held throughout London.
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a small team, have an interest in International volunteering, training, social media, marketing and recruitment. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who would like to find future work within the International charity sector and who has an interest in marketing and social media.
ICYE UK will reimburse travel expenses within London and will also provide £3 per day for lunch expenses. Full training and support is also provided.
Deadline for applications is Sunday 6th October 2013 and interviews wil be held during the week commencing 7th October 2013.
To apply, please send a CV and a covering letter which demonstrates how you can meet the criteria to Katie Lissamore at email@example.com.
