We are a young London based startup that has secured investment to disrupt the market in the ‘workspace’ scene.

We are a small yet ambitious team that is ready to facilitate the shift in work lifestyle and space hire, this will be a fast-paced role that will be a learning experience for everybody.

We are looking to hire a Business Development Director that can be part of the startup journey and help accelerate an exciting idea into a profitable venture.

You will be key in finalising the product, setting the sales strategy and both grow new suppliers and sales channels.

NB: This position is posted by Inovents Venture Capital (our investors).

Key Responsibilities

1) Support product development with your industry knowledge and experience 

  • Evaluate the existing trends and find new opportunities
  • Provide an overview of key partners and suppliers to ensure the business strategy is strategically aligned
  • Leverage industry knowledge to test product ideas and features to contribute to the product development process
  • Find new innovative ways to sell our products and services
  • Assist the marketing team for the product launch.

2) Grow the platform with new suppliers

  • Develop and manage new sales channels
  • Proactively source new clients
  • A natural networker that can leverage existing networks for business development opportunities for the brand

3) Grow the team and product portfolio to increase revenue and sales

  • Lead and develop a sales team
  • Developing internal work process for lead generation and client management
  • Assisting the team in developing Customer Service procedures and training staff to put these in practise
  • Develop new add-on products and/or services

Skills & Experience

  • 2 -6 years of work experience in the hospitality / work space industry or event spaces, ideally with industry leaders
  • You must be able to spot an opportunity, set the milestones and deliver the results.

  • Knowledge and experience of the online hospitality industry
  • Clear understanding of what it takes to be successful in that space
  • Understanding of growing new customers but also retaining them
  • Comfortable in pitching  the business and products to a variety of audience
  • Good in client management and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
