Half of the International Humanity Foundation's (IHF) mission is to educate the poor and the other half is to educate the world about the poor. Their vision is to strive for a world of leaders and citizens who have interacted with, and are truly knowledgeable about the world's poor. They believe in a "pass it on" philosophy where education is free and available for all who seek it. Those of us who have received a free education pass it on by helping others less fortunate by teaching, interacting and learning. With just a few hours a week, volunteers, children and sponsors are changing the world we live in. IHF is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit organization that strongly believes in an equal opportunity for all and in preserving the cultures, traditions and beliefs of the marginalized communities it works in.

IHF allowed thousands of children to receive valuable education, both in locals schools and at our centers, helping them grow intellectually and with regard to their social skills. Our programs including Maths, English, Computer and Arts are designed to give kids the chance to cultivate their potential.

Why are we exciting?

The International Humanity Foundation is seeking forward-thinking, dynamic individuals of all ages/background to contribute to our orphanages and education centers in Indonesia, Thailand or Kenya. IHF has grown over the past 25 years under the visionary leadership of Carol Sasaki (CEO) and the dedication of thousands of staff and volunteers from around the world.

IHF is distinct from other NGO's in this field as we practice the 'Pass it on' ethos in marginalized communities. We offer the privilege of education to those who without our organization could not reach it.

IHF has no central HQ, as each centers is a product of its environment and follows the local cultural mode and norms

What can we offer Escapees?

We offer opportunities in Indonesia (Jakarta, Bali, Aceh, Medan), Thailand (Chiang Rai), and Kenya (Nakuru). We want our audience to learn about the difficulties faced by isolated and impoverished groups, and how can they help them.

At the center, you will divide your time between caring of the children and working on international tasks. IHF is a grassroots, all-volunteer organisation with no central office, so all administration work is done in center, All staff manage one or more of our international task teams such as: University relations, fundraising and media working together online staff from other centers. You will be assigned according to your experience. You must possess excellent time managing skills.
