International Refugee Trust (IRT) was founded in 1989 to help improve the lives of refugees, internally displaced people and returnees around the world. IRT provides medical care, homes, food, education and training focusing on income-generating projects that support financial independence.

What makes IRT special is that our projects are based on local initiatives and run by local people. IRT focuses on supporting small projects that address the most urgent needs of refugees providing appropriate and well-targeted aid.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive individual to further International Refugee Trust’s digital presence and develop new fundraising initiatives. Working as part of a lean team in Chiswick you will contribute to the fundraising target by acquiring individual donors and securing unrestricted income via digital channels.

You will work with the team to secure new corporate partners, and assist in the development of major individual donors, taking ownership of fundraising projects including sporting events and the charity’s Christmas card.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take real ownership of the charity’s digital presence and contribute to a wider fundraising agenda.

IRT is at an exciting point of growth and has several key fundraising projects on the horizon so are looking for an enthusiastic, capable candidate to hit the ground running in this unique role which offers broad scope and the chance to make a real impact on the lives of refugees across the world.
