Overview The Co-founder of one of the most celebrated brands in the UK - Mr & Mrs Smith, has joined forces with both the former editor-in-Chief of the Michelin Restaurant Guide and London’s most sort-after chef of-the-moment, to create one of the most exciting hospitality-based lifestyle concepts the Capital has seen for over a decade. Due to launch October 2013 the business is looking to hire an experienced and entrepreneurial Operations Director to help establish it successfully in both the UK and overseas. Andrew Grahame who, as well as a founder at Mr & Mrs Smith, also founded The Leisure Pass Group, which recently sold for £35 million, will be Chairman of the new venture and is looking for a strong leader to take hold of all day-to-day operational aspects of the business with the view for them to become Managing Director once pre-agreed targets are met.

This is a marketing-led lifestyle brand aimed at revolutionising a certain section of the restaurant/hospitality industry. Everything from the graphic-led website to high-end customer facing concierge style hospitality, will all be part of a very stylised consumer proposition.  However behind the scenes is a highly sophisticated operational set up that ensures the customer experience is second to none.

Domestic expansion will include brand extensions and moves into similar leisure sectors however the principal strategic growth will come from international expansion to New York, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin etc.

The Operations Director will be expected to drive the business towards launch in the Autumn, meeting pre-agreed timescales and budgets in all areas. This will involve sophisticated project management overseeing supply logistics, technical integration, packaging development and supply chain, systems and process introduction and management etc. all in order to efficiently coordinate the various workstreams and supplier deliverables to achieve a robust beta launch and a smooth transition to consumer launch. The Operations Director will also be expected to own the P&L and business model along with the day to day management of the team. The ultimate goal is to deliver the business plan on time and on budget, to meet pre-agreed KPIs and to maintain/retain the brand equity at all times
