We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and results-orientated Operations Director to launch a revolutionary start-up set to break into London’s high-end restaurant and concierge market…and beyond!

This is a brand new digital company and lifestyle brand that is aimed at changing the way in which we eat and the way in which we experience *the best* of London's restaurants and eateries.

Due to launch early 2014 in London, the business is looking to hire an experienced Operations Director to help establish the business successfully both the UK and following shortly after, overseas. The position is ideal for a candidate who is able to take full control of all day-to-day operational aspects of a young business and prepare it for launch.  The logistics and planning required are no small feat and a successful candidate will need to have the drive, determination and requisite skills to cope with the demanding challenges of such a business.

Requirements and competencies:

  • 7+ years of experience in operations, business management (experience in a digital business with logistics requirements would be ideal!)
  • Project management and software
  • Critical Path Analysis
  • Overseeing supply-chain logistics,
    Excel – Macros, pivot tables, v lookups, advanced formulas Financial Forecasting – business modelling including P&L ownership and development
  • Work Flow processes – development, implementation and roll out
  • Recruitment – multi level, customer service, hospitality etc.
  • HR processes – current working knowledge within UK
  • Training – writing manuals/protocols etc.
  • Reporting – data management/dashboard creation
  • Research & Analysis
  • Data Management/analysis
  • Procurement – local and offshore sourcing
    Manufacturing process awareness
  • General Administration

The ultimate goal is to deliver the business plan on time and on budget, to meet pre-agreed KPIs and to maintain/retain the brand equity at all times.
