We are a London-based group of brand advocacy specialists in the tech and media space. Our 3 businesses are technologically curious, creatively restless and hierarchy-lite.

Reporting into our stateside Finance Director, your ultimate goal is to improve his working life! Responsible for a wide variety of duties in the accounts function, you will mainly provide transactional accounting assistance across the ledgers. You are an experienced bookkeeper, obsessive about detail and kind-hearted.

You will

  • Maintain financial ledgers and accounting processes, reconciling festival income and other revenue on our accounting system, and maintaining separate accounts for all 4 operating companies. Improve our system of checks and balances.
  • Help to create an accounting system that will allow Benjamin to pull out data for analysis and planning (in time!).
  • Reconcile/audit our expense log, following up on discrepancies and chasing for information on bank statements (using Xero). Previous experience of Xero is desirable, but not essential.
  • Investigate and resolve queries relating to invoices. Reconcile supplier statements. Assist with credit control, chasing debt and allocating incoming payments onto the ledger.
  • Maintain aspects of the sales ledger, raising invoices, re-issuing invoices and raising credit notes.
  • Lead the timely production of statutory and internal financial reports. Help to prepare the quarterly VAT returns and submit to HMRC.

You’ll enjoy it here if you

  • Are detail orientated, have an excellent memory, are highly organized, and able to answer questions on the spot (ish). A perfectionist at heart, you respect facts and take pride in being able to answer in a precise and accurate way. You like being right!!
  • Are discreet and self-aware – cash flow is a delicate topic.
  • You want to grow with the role. The better you do, the more responsibility you will be given.
  • Have balance. You have initiative and don’t need too much hand-holding. You respect the importance of following Benjamin’s remote direction, will look to form good working practices around the distance and are not fazed by his being in the US. When given tasks, you can figure out what to do without micro-management.
  • Have worked in a start-up environment (or want to!) or for an entrepreneur. The environment here is exciting, merit-based, inclusive and fun but is also sometimes chaotic, undefined and incredibly busy. You love being at the heart of this and don’t mind a bit of chaos as we grow. Benjamin is 21, our group CEO is 23: You don’t judge on age or formal qualifications – only merit and results.
  • Are smart, open, friendly, willing to get your hands dirty and able to work under pressure
  • Are charismatic– difference and individuality are celebrated!

Good Times

To create memorable experiences, we need to actually have them. Our teams have loads. And we work hard to create an innovative environment that excites great talent. We work on what we love and what we're brilliant at it. By extension, we have fun.

Our businesses are flat (ish), and our culture encourages everyone to be fearless, generous and disruptive. This makes for a workplace that's 'friction-free': brilliant projects get approved fast. Markets, relationships and real-world experiences start to change.

Life here includes:

  • A Results-Only Working Environment. Choose what, when, where and with whom you work (within reason!).
  • Working retreats. Every year we all fly overseas to work in the sun.
  • Unlimited holidays. You let us know when you’d like a break.
  • Breakfasts. Everyday, on the house.
  • Good health. Free fruit and protein on tap, to top up your work-to-life balance.
  • Bestival. Where we celebrate our anniversary in our own pimped tourbus, with lots of fancy
  • Our very own Christmas rave. For all our stakeholders.
