This is an exciting opportunity to work at the very heart of the London Early Years Foundation (“LEYF”), one of the country’s most successful Social Enterprises and winner of a prestigious National Business Award for transformation from a vulnerable charity to successful social enterprise.

Across LEYF’s 24 community, workplace and Children’s Centre nurseries the clear priority is an ambitious quality standard. LEYF takes a sophisticated multiple bottom line approach where business success exists to drive social impact and outcomes for the children, families and communities.

LEYF is a bold and entrepreneurial organisation aiming to double in size in the next few years. To do this, LEYF needs a Children and Families Services Director of dynamism and ‘cut-through’, able to define the strategic roadmap to deliver increased quality at a time of growth, while also running a highly diverse and complex network of self-contained business units.

Reporting directly to the CEO the Children and Families Services Director will work at the heart of LEYF, championing LEYF’s values and enabling increased reach and enhanced service to tens of thousands of children across London. To be clear, LEYF is a pioneer in children’s services and in social enterprise so they are entirely open to this leader coming from outside the traditional sectors in which it delivers its services.
