In every neighbourhood around the world are things (eg tools, garden equipment, furniture) that are underused or no longer wanted. Through sharing, resources are unlocked and neighbours are connected. Streetbank is a website that makes it easy to share with your neighbourhood.  With a rapidly growing membership of 20,000 concentrated in London, Vancouver and Sydney we are galvanising a movement of people to share their things and skills with their neighbourhood.

We have received significant funding to now exponentially increase our membership and our site’s activity. To that end we are recruiting, a Director of Transformational Growth to deepen communities in West London, Brighton and Manchester before scaling to the UK and beyond.  The work will involve building strategic partnerships, organising events, leveraging social media and galvanising key influencers so that neighbourhood sharing in target areas becomes as easy and regular as going to the shops.

We are seeking someone who is highly entrepreneurial, can simultaneously manage multiple projects, has outstanding relationship management skills and is happy to roll their sleeves up. Their passion for community building will be reflected in how they spend their time outside of work. And they will rarely stand on escalators or have changed a plan because of rain.
