Brief Description
Do you wish you had built an iconic global brand? Had been present at foundation discussions for Hello Kitty or Mickey Mouse? Then look no further. This role offers the opportunity to mold and plan breakout IP’s from a global reaching licensor. You will be required to utilise your experience developing strategic long-term brand timelines and launch activities across numerous product categories & markets.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Developing and owning the master business plan and P+L for a key new IP.
  • Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits
  • Maintain communication with key partners to understand performance/trends and business opportunities and issues
  • Coordinate product development process to ensure products from licensees meet brand standards and timelines; ensure this process is consistent across all licensees.
  • Liaise with the Global retail manager to ensure retailers are aware of new properties and products and when needed presenting new promotional opportunities to them.
  • Work with the Director of Art and Director of Licensing Operations on design direction and manage timelines in regards to creative, marketing and advertising plans and programs.
  • Facilitate communications around product launches / brand executions providing visibility and updates to Senior Management and department heads

Requirements/ Qualifications
  • Extensive licensing / brand experience
  • Strong track record of brand building
  • A proven ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Demonstrated success in building and generating new business
  • Experience managing and delivering projects successfully
  • Experience in developing new brand assets and materials
  • Strong retailer / fashion relationships
  • Knowledge of the licensing industry
