We’re looking for a talented journalist/producer with a passion for creating useful, inspiring and entertaining content for our growing community of website and small-business owners.

You’re tech-savvy, interested in small business, and have probably built your own website or blog. You’ve got plenty of experience producing articles and video content, but will be equally happy writing product guides, coaching customers on how to build and optimise their sites.Role Responsibilities:
  • Write/create blog posts, how-to guides, product updates and videos for our blog, encouraging interaction by starting/joining conversations
  • Cover everything from the rise of mobile commerce and what it means to our customers, to ‘how-to’ guides on using the latest digital tools and platforms
  • Bring a constant source of useful/inspirational/entertaining content ideas to the table, along with the ability to execute them with speed, flair, and minimal editing required
  • Work closely with other members of the Content/Social/Design/Marketing teams on posts, creative projects and campaigns
  • Empower the Moonfruit community by keeping them informed of our product updates as well as our useful and inspirational content
Experience and Personal Attributes Required:
  • Degree-educated and have a professional journalism or copywriting qualification
  • Able to provide examples of high quality, published copy and video content
  • Tech-savvy, interested in small business, and ideally well-connected in both worlds having written about both subjects
  • Snappy writing style and demonstrable true passion for writing, blogging and social media
  • Previous exposure to content management systems and website creation
Bonus points if you:
  • Know lots about creating websites and website design
  • Have worked in the tech sector
  • Are familiar with Moonfruit and our software
  • Like making cakes, curries or quiches and bringing them to work
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate proof of eligibility to work in the UK and hold a valid work visa if applicable.
