In 2008 we launched ‘Oxford Thinking’, the biggest philanthropic campaign in European history, and surpassed our target of £1.25billion in 2012; we have now set a revised target of £3billion. To help us to achieve this new goal we have created the new post of Head of Development – Corporate, to lead and drive a new strategy that will create a step change in our corporate fundraising.

 This role requires a talented, versatile and results focused professional who can lead and deliver a new strategy to secure sustainable philanthropic support from the corporate sector both in the UK and worldwide. Your business insight and understanding of the corporate world and corporate philanthropy will have been gained at a senior level in either a strategic corporate fundraising role or strategic  sales/commercial/consultancy role within the commercial sector. A graduate or equivalent, who is  confident and credible in engaging at board level, you will be experienced in the identification and cultivation of major prospects and adept at developing philanthropic relationships which have led to significant support. This role will require close collaboration with both academic, college and development staff so an ability to engage with key stakeholders to work towards common goals in a complex institution is essential.

This role will require international travel.
