Place2Be is the leading UK provider of school-based emotional and mental health services. Founded in 1994, Place2Be has school-based teams in over 170 schools in the UK, supporting 64,000 children. The award-winning charity seeks to improve the prospects of children aged 4-14 years, by tackling the complex social issues that result in educational disadvantage.

This exciting new role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for a key and high profile expansion of Place2Be’s services in secondary schools. An ambitious and highly competent Development Manager, you will drive the growth of the service from 10 schools to 70 by 2017, accountable for securing commissioning and ensuring retention through high quality service delivery, within budget.

Fluent in finance with experience of developing and managing budgets, you will have a strong track record of delivering exceptional performance and quality. You will have the entrepreneurial drive to develop and maintain strong relationships and the ability to envision, shape and drive forward the growth of Place2Be’s secondary school development. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as the flexibility to work non-standard hours and travel throughout the UK.
