About us

Youth charity The Prince's Trust gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. It works with 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment through underachieving in education.


The Role
 
The Trust is looking for a National Programme Executive for the Team and xl programmes. This role is part of the Central Operations team which is responsible for developing the strategic direction, content and policies for The Trust's programmes and qualifications and for the management framework, standards and training for delivery staff, partners and volunteers.

The Team programme is a 12-week personal development programme for unemployed young people aged 16 - 25 which aims to increase confidence, motivation and skills and as a result enable young people to move into employment, education, training, volunteering or apprenticeships.

The xl programme provides a personal development programme aimed at young people aged 13 to 19 at risk of underachievement or exclusion from school. Using an informal approach to learning, the clubs provide young people with the space and attention they need to develop confidence as well as to form a sense of ownership over their work and own development.

You will be responsible for supporting regional staff to deliver quality Team and xl programmes across the UK. This includes establishing relationships with Prince's Trust fundraisers, assessing programme quality, developing resources and training material, and supporting the strategic direction of the programmes. 
 

Requirements

You will possess excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and IT skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.  An ability to work with a wide range of internal staff and external organisations along with excellent planning and organisational skills are essential. Experience working with youth and knowledge Further Education in the UK is also an advantage.
 
This position will require an enhanced DBS disclosure certificate. Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us.  This will depend on the nature of the position and the circumstances and background of your offences.
