The bicycle industry is a high-energy, constantly changing environment of technology and advancement.

Pushbikes is a leading bicycle retailer in New Zealand, meaning when you work for us you will be working for a market leader, selling top brands and product lines.

We are looking for a retail focused sales professional / assistant manager to be a key team member of our exciting new Christchurch store. We're not looking for average - we're looking for exceptional! If you’re passionate about working in the cycle industry, then this is for you.

You will be in control of your own sales, working with the wider team to ensure your service to our customers is second to none. You’ll be working alongside management and key suppliers to further your product knowledge, enabling you to exceed store targets and lead our team.

We require someone who is self-motivated and driven to exceed targets. Ideally you will be able to point to a successful career in sales and show an in depth understanding of the consumer. Experience within the cycling industry and some product knowledge is an advantage. Some light mechanical work, including bicycle assembly will be required in this role.

The remuneration consists of a competitive base salary, along with a desirable commission scheme. As this is a sales driven and focused role, the commission scheme rewards are excellent!

Your working week will consist of 38-42.5 hours per week, including weekend work.
