Where it all began Qubit started life in 2010, when four Googlers flew the nest in search of fresh challenges. This was a pivotal time in the world of analytics - businesses knew htey had to have more insight, yet no solution seemed able to deliver clarity needed to stop the gradual fall in conversion rates.

At the same time, the consumer world was moving quickly. People were used to great online experiences created by the likes of Facebook and Spotify. They started shopping on tablets and mobiles, on the move, and even whilst browsing in physical stores. They became harder to satisfy, and had a voice where anyone could tune in and support them.

Looking for

Qubit is looking for an energetic, well-presented organiser who can fill the role of Personal Assistant to the CEO and Office Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a high-growth technology start up that is really starting to take off. You’ll be helping our CEO and senior team as we grow our United States and European operations. The role is varied with office management and personal assistant duties, and is a chance to gain some experience in the dynamic and fast paced London startup scene.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing support to the CEO and Founding team with diary management, telephone screening and other ad hoc duties. General office management duties: you’ll order equipment and manage distribution and stock levels, and help new starters and old hands. Answering the switchboard, screening phone calls and greeting visitors to the office. Helping to support the Operations team with general duties as and when required.

What You’ll Need

Some experience of working as an assistant to a senior member of staff, either within Technology or another industry. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to project a professional image of Qubit. Excellent organisation skills, you must be comfortable working in a fast moving environment and dealing with rapidly changing requirements. Comfortable and experienced with international diary management, you will support senior management remotely whilst they are in our New York office. You must be happy to work independently with minimal input from management.
