Raleigh International, a youth and sustainable development charity, needs volunteers aged 25 - 75 to help lead overseas expeditions. Expeditions are 8 or 13 weeks in length and depart throughout the year to Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua and Tanzania.
Volunteer managers facilitate the development of young people from different backgrounds and cultures, while contributing to sustainable community, environmental and adventure projects. Working as part of the volunteer manager team, you will take responsibility for supporting or managing the success of a project in a remote and challenging environment.
There are many different roles available, including project managers, photographers, logistics coordinators, communications officers, finance managers and mountain leaders. No matter what your skills; it is likely we have a role to suit you! Training is provided for all roles.
Volunteers are required to fundraise for Raleigh International in order to join an expedition.
Apply now to join any expedition in the next two years. You could be on expedition as soon as this summer. Think you’ve got what it takes? Apply now to attend our assessment weekend 26th & 27th January in East Grinstead, Sussex.
