International Citizen Service (ICS) is a unique opportunity for you to work with communities in Latin America, making a real difference to the lives of people in Nicaragua, and more locally in the UK.
Raleigh International is recruiting team leaders to manage their ICS programme in Nicaragua. Whilst overseas with Raleigh ICS you'll be working in teams of UK and Nicaraguan volunteers contributing to development projects that tackle issues around education, health, livelihoods, strengthening civil society, natural resources and the environment.
On Raleigh ICS, activities will cover infrastructure building, resource development, peer to peer education, action research, awareness raising and training. You will work with local NGO partners, trades people and community groups to ensure projects are sustainable and the impact will be felt for a long time after the projects are completed.
