Why are we exciting?Do you want to get a start-up company off the ground? Do you want to work for a socially conscious enterprise? Do you like the sound of tackling a big challenge?
David Cameron described dementia this year as "one of the greatest challenges of our time". Worldwide there are more than 36 million people living with dementia, 820,000 of which live in the UK alone. In 2010, dealing with dementia cost the world £380 billion. That's 1% of global GDP. In the UK, annual expenditure on dementia is £23 billion, a figure projected to increase to £50 billion by 2040. This is a sum of immense proportions that brings with it novel opportunities for socially conscious enterprise.
Started in 2009, our vision is to provide innovative world-class dementia care. Our concept is unique; our vision is to stand out in the grey dementia landscape and to fight the stigma surrounding memory issues.
“Red and Yellow Care will set a new benchmark for the quality of care services and, in doing so, will be instrumental in raising the quality of care services across the entire health and social care sector.”
