Roosterbank.com is a free-to-use website that helps families manage pocket money.

The site is designed to let parents develop a regular pocket money routine and helps children learn about saving and spending responsibly; preparing them for the day when they get their own bank account. In addition, there are fun educational games and a buzzing community for kids to get involved with.

We are a super shiny new start up (we launched last November) and are looking for an intern to join our growing Marketing and Business Development team. With several team members being corporate escapees as well, you will be in good company.

Required skills

You will need to have a lot of energy, an interest in children’s education and finance, as well as some solid grounding in marketing and business fundamentals. With a ‘can do’ attitude, you won’t be afraid to try new things out, learn and become a pro. You will love crafting a good bit of copy, be tech savvy, creative and outrageously organized. You will also be a self-starter and happy to work without supervision.

What you will be doing

You will be working with designers, developers and our marketing and business development team. Your primary role will be focused on helping us drive acquisitions and spreading the word through a number of exciting marketing projects – getting plenty of experience across the business. In return you will get:

  • Coaching from your direct manager.
  • Hands-on experience in a start-up environment.
  • Support and a written reference at the end of your internship.
  • This is a paid internship.

We want you to get the most out of this and you should be able to commit to a 3 month internship period. We are looking for someone to join us in April.
