About Sefaira Sefaira is an award-winning startup in the green software space. We seek to transform the building industry by applying cloud-based building and materials analysis software to maximise the sustainability of all parts of the building value chain. To that end, we are creating a portfolio of products to address different needs that various actors have. Our first generally-available product – Concept – is currently used by many of the largest and most-respected architectural firms in the world for maximising the sustainability of their early-stage designs. We have yet to meet a prospect that isn’t excited by what we are doing. We are also working on other equally exciting products! At Sefaira, we strongly believe that to build a great product, you need great people. Sefaira is an incredibly important part of the lives of everyone who works here. We work hard and we all believe strongly in making the world a better place. We’re a relatively small team – fewer than fifty people – and are now looking for an exceptional Product Manager who can take ownership of one of our product lines. The ChallengeYour role as Product Manager is to maximise the success of a Sefaira product. This means ensuring:

  • That we build the right product so we delight our customers and prospects.
  • That we build it within the budget allocated by the business.
  • That we are well-positioned and have plans in place to react to how our competitors may react.
  • That we communicate relentlessly both internally and externally, gather feedback and listen to opinions.
  • That we ensure both the products short-term appeal and its long-term success.
  • In short, you’ll be the “CEO” of the product.
This position is an excellent opportunity to join a young software business with a big mission in a role that will stretch you and grow you. We are looking for smart, extremely motivated people who are willing and able to contribute quickly to Sefaira and who are excited by what we are doing. Location: This full-time position is based in Piccadilly Circus, London, England or Union Square, New York City. We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and excellent work environment. Essential Requirements:
  • EITHER 5+ years of building engineering experience OR 5+ years software product management experience (or both!).
  • Experience of Agile/SCRUM/XP or similar methodologies. No Waterfall here please!
  • A good bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or building Engineering or equivalent, from a good university. A higher degree is a plus.
Nice to haves:
  • SaaS product management experience.
  • Press training.
  • Portfolio management experience.
  • Pragmatic Product Management or equivalent certification.
About You:
  • You are smart and get things done.
  • You have egoless confidence.
  • You have excellent communication skills and will clearly and respectfully communicate with all stakeholders, from customers and partners through our internal teams including the CEO & Executive team.
  • You want to help build world-class products.
  • You learn quickly.
  • You are passionate about taking on new challenges and seeing them through.
  • You are obsessed with delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • You have the character to be a pillar in a successful software business with a lot of capable and engaged people.
