Our aim is to achieve a reduction in violence across all sectors from gang and knife crime to one on one, alcohol related violence and domestic. Using unique educational resources we provide inspiring and attitude changing workshops. We have 9 years experience in the field of violence prevention and work with various organisations to achieve our objectives.

We are looking for experienced teachers to deliver the educational work of Stand Against Violence efficiently and effectively in all Counties across the UK. You can be self employed or we can offer you a zero hours contract. £12 p/h

You will work with schools, youth offending services, prisons and other organisations to deliver our services and message.

Duties and key responsibilities:

  • Deliver workshops/sessions with young people around the county in which you reside
  • Teach potentially emotive subject matter to which you should be experienced and confident in handling
  • Liaise with schools and their staff
  • Support and assist in the development of new educational resources and services within SAV as required
  • Be responsible for submitting your travel claims and time sheets
  • Work closely with our bookings coordinator
  • Communicate in an effective and timely manner
