Street Child Africa is a leading UK charity entirely devoted to helping street children across Africa. We are a fast-growing, respected charity working in Partnership with African organisations who adopt a street-based approach reaching out to children, offering them guidance from trustworthy adults, education, medical care, baby care, vocational sponsorship, a place in the community and a chance to choose a different path in life.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated professional to generate the vital resources needed to meet our future challenges and build this year’s income. You will be responsible for leading, establishing and developing Corporate Fundraising at Street Child Africa. In 2013/14 we must attract new Corporate Partners and develop existing partnerships so that we can expand Street Child Africa’s work for the benefit of street children in sub-Saharan Africa.

Applicants will be confident speakers with an entrepreneurial and creative approach to fundraising, having a track record in attracting and managing successful corporate partnerships to an exemplary standard, as well as dealing with organisations at the highest level.

As part of a resourceful team, you will play a significant role in the growth and development of Corporate Fundraising at the charity. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for autonomy in their role and the chance to make a real and lasting difference.

Occasional travel to Africa, concern for the plight of Street Children in Africa and a passion to do something about it is essential, whilst experience of working in overseas development is desirable.
