The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that helps restaurants to be more sustainable and allows customers to make informed choices when eating out. Launched in 2010, we have grown to over 2,000 members in a short space of time and currently work with a range of restaurants and foodservice companies across the UK and, increasingly, from abroad. As well as our membership programme and industry standard sustainability rating, we also offer a broad range of services to clients on a commercial basis.

 

Due to recent growth, we are expanding our team and now have a vacancy for a full-time Team Administrator and Book Keeper. We are looking for someone to oversee our administrative systems and office management, and to provide support to the Managing Director and the SRA team. The role will also involve day-to-day book keeping and financial management, and regular liaison with our external accountants. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience of working in a similar role within a busy office environment. Highly organised, an excellent communicator, reliable and trustworthy, you will also have experience of using the usual suite of MS Office software, Sage accounting software and CRM databases.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to shape the role and make it their own, so we are looking for someone with confidence and initiative. A love of food and an interest in sustainability would be a distinct advantage.
