The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that helps restaurants to be more sustainable and allows customers to make informed choices when eating out. Launched in 2010, we have grown to over 2,000 Member sites in a short space of time and currently work with a range of restaurants and foodservice companies across the UK and, increasingly, from across the world. Due to recent growth, we are expanding our Operations Team by taking on three new Account Manager roles to start in January 2014.


Senior Account Manager: We are looking for someone with a passion for sustainability in the food sector to manage the sustainability ratings process of The SRA. You will also project manage Member engagements, and participate in business development. We are looking for someone with bags of get up and go to take a lead on some of the initiatives we are developing. Experience in a range of sustainability issues and an excellent track record in customer relationship management and project management are essential for this role. You will also have experience in managing junior team Members and enjoy working on a variety of projects, juggling priorities and developing new sustainability offerings.


Account Manager: We are looking for someone to run the account management of our Members along with SRA projects. Account management is the bread and butter of what we do here at the SRA. It’s about engaging with new and existing Members and supporting them through the sustainability ratings process. You will need excellent client relationship management skills to build trust with Members and provide them with guidance on their sustainability issues and initiatives. Excellent organisation is also key as the role will involve working on SRA projects as well as managing multiple Member accounts.


Assistant Account Manager: We are looking for someone to track all aspects of customer relationship management with our Members. Excellent organisational skills will be essential as this role is about making sure that operations run like a well-oiled machine. You will ideally have knowledge of using CRM systems and will need an excellent working knowledge of MS Excel. You will also need to be confident at report writing and getting involved with creating sustainability fact sheets and other knowledge products for our Members.
